It’s World Smile Day!

Getting yourself to the gym is one of the best ways of bringing endorphins into your life and in return, a great big smile.

But did you know what you put in your body can affect your teeth more than you think?

For a pearly white, healthy set of gnashers, you should take these tips on board:

Avoid sugars and sweeteners – Every time you eat something sweet your teeth are under attack from decay.

Drink plenty of water – this will clean your teeth and wash away main bits of food stuck in your teeth.

– In other words, eat clean!

Food good for your teeth >  nuts, chicken and other meats

Food bad for your teeth > hard boiled sweets, cookies and cakes (this list is endless!…Unfortunately)

So for both an amazing smile and an amazing waistline, avoid sugar as much as you can.

My top replacements for sugar and fixing your sweet tooth are in my cookbooks – they’ll definitely satisfy any cravings you have!
