I got to know about Katie and how wonderful she is from some friends who had used her training and diet plans before. I was miserable, overweight, unfit and looking for an answer to help me turn my life around. I had previously undertaken the LighterLife Diet for my wedding in 2007 and yes, I had lost 3 stone but had not exercised and as soon as I started eating normally again I put all my weight back on and then some!

I contacted Katie in the hope that I could train 1:1 with her for 8 weeks and luckily she had a slot available so we started straight away. One huge incentive for me was the fact that I had considered going back on the LighterLife Diet and Katie was half the price of how much they charge and I would be able to eat healthy food and not starve myself on unhealthy shakes and soups! After discussing this with Katie she confirmed just how unhealthy they really are!
After my first session I felt completely motivated and determined to succeed. I found the initial two weeks quite easy as I’m not a big drinker and the changes that I made to my diet almost immediately made me feel healthier and I had more energy, and slept better! I stuck to the training plan to the letter and was amazed after my first two weeks at having lost 22cm from all over my body! My sessions with Katie were hard but I found as the weeks went by, they got easier and I could see my body changing as each week went by. People started to notice the change and began commenting on how much weight I’d lost! Strangely enough, although I was losing weight, it wasn’t this that was making the difference; it was my measurements that were dropping every week! I have always been obsessed with my weight but since meeting Katie, I’m not so fixated on it! If you follow Katie’s eating plan then you will lose weight but she doesn’t fixate on that, she concentrates more on inch loss and body fat loss.
So, after 8 weeks I have lost a total of 43cm and dropped 2.06% body fat!!!
And I’ve just signed up for another 8 weeks 1:1 to continue to work toward my goal where I will be happy with my body and can then continue on my own to maintain a healthy exercise and eating regime for the rest of my life.
