Easter Chocolate Temptations…

Easter Chocolate Temptations…

 Happy Easter!

Easter has come around and so for many of us, this means chocolate and sweet treats will be all around us – needless to say, sometimes it’s hard to resist the temptation…

Don’t worry! There’s nothing worse than punishing yourself for something that really won’t be detrimental.

“One good meal won’t make you thinner and one bad meal won’t make you obese”.

Here are three things to keep in mind over the sweet treat Easter holidays…

Balance

If you’ve indulged in some chocolate goodness, just make a note to yourself to do an extra set of squats (or an equivalent) when you next plan to work out. It’s all about balance. Definitely do not worry about it but also try not to give up the whole day of wellness for it… ie, don’t write off the whole day for the sake of one bad meal.

Replacement

If you need a sweet fix, try something with a little more nutritious goodness in it like these coconut haystacks or a rhubarb crumble recipe.

 H20

If you feel irrationally hungry, it may well be that you’re just really thirsty – dehydrated. Drink a big glass of water and wait ten minutes before you decide what snack you’re after.

Remember one bad hour or day doesn’t have to turn into one bad week!

Have a cracking Easter break and stay motivated, you’ll feel so amazing for it!
