PRESS RELEASE – JULY 2016

Trio Launch National Fitness Network A trio of industry professionals have launched a brand new network for individuals working in the UK fitness sector.

The National Fitness Network is the brainchild of former club operator and founder of the acclaimed LFX network, Graeme Hinde. Hinde approached fitness entrepreneur Katie BulmerCooke and award-winning operator Neil Hutchinson to join him as Directors and the new network will launch during the early part of summer 2016.

Hinde explained, “For many years I have listened to industry colleagues talking about how we should pay our people more for the fantastic work they do on the front line, but things don’t seem to have improved. I decided that it was time to give something back and so we are creating a fantastic range of exclusive member offers and discounts”.

As Commercial Director Katie has secured sponsorship from Reebok Fitness who will support the National Fitness Network throughout year one and will offer discounts to members looking to purchase Reebok products and accessories.

Katie explained “when people join our community they will find a range of codes and exclusive offers from some of the most exciting suppliers in the fitness industry. The community interaction will be brilliant too, members will be able to share workouts, meal plans and anything else related to fitness”.

Daniel Allinson, Marketing Director, RFE International (licensee for Reebok Fitness) said, “We, Reebok Fitness, are delighted to support the National Fitness Network as headline sponsor. Ultimately our sponsorship will help build and launch the new website whilst supporting the growing awareness of the community – however our involvement goes beyond this. The National Fitness Network will be unique in that the main community will be hosted on Facebook rather than a dedicated website. Partnership Director Neil Hutchinson explained the reasoning for this decision. “We thought about it and realised it made sense to take our community onto the most popular social networking platform.

By utilising the tools that Facebook offers we can keep our costs down and offer amazing value to our members”.

The National Fitness Network will launch with a special offer price of just £25.00 for a one-year membership and Graeme Hinde added “Joining the network will make so much sense for individuals who regularly purchase fitness related items.
